What Do You Get with Children Learning Reading?

This is an innovative and practical, easy to follow program created by Jim Yang used to teach young children how to read and (drum-roll, please) teaches parents how to teach them.

It comes in the form of e-books in a standard or premium package (with more materials) that gives you simple instructions to follow on how to help a child learn to read.

You can also add on math worksheets or phonics and phonemic awareness worksheets if you like.

The Children Learning Reading Method

Within the program, the step-by-step easy to follow short lessons are a breeze to use and also are amazingly useful.

Phonemic awareness and synthetic phonics are creatively combined and implemented in an extremely effective method that gets the task done. You will be able to help your child to read with the lessons and stories - I did.

Although there are a number of good early childhood reading programs, some important features pushed the Children Learning Reading Program to the top of my list. Here are a few things I found very valuable:

It's Easy to Use

As mentioned before, the simplicity of this program was what initially sold me.

I am quite awkward when attempting to formally school my child because I’m well aware that being a teacher was not my calling. 

This program makes it natural and easy to guide and instruct my child even without any teaching skills with short lessons.

Does This Program Really Work?

Another great thing about this program is that it works for young children. And - it works well.

 I watched the videos on the site and knew it worked for other children learning reading, but when my child began to read, I've got to admit I got teary eyed.

Here is a video of the progress made by Jim's 2 year old daughter. He also used this program with his 2 year old son.

 

Now at 2 years and 4 months, he can read an entire book by himself! He is reading at a 2nd grade level! At our church school, his teacher was amazed.
